Warranty
Coverage
Icecap warrants that each Cold Plunge Tub we produce, including all components thereof, shall be free from faulty workmanship and defective materials for a period of one year from the original date of purchase, except for the Cold Plunge Tub shell which is sold with a limited lifetime warranty.
- Components covered under the year warranty are handles, spin-weld fittings, ball valves, and anything not the actual plastic tub.
- Icecap reserves the right to send a bulkhead fitting repair kit for any leaking spin-weld in place of a complete replacement of the tub.
- The limited lifetime warranty covers only IceCap Cold Plunge Tubs that are purchased from an authorized IceCap distributor.
- This warranty applies only to the original purchaser. The warranty may not be transferred.
- In order to make a warranty claim proof of purchase must be presented at the time of the claim. Normal wear and tear is not warranted.
Chiller Warranty
- 1-Year Product Warranty
- Lifetime service warranty at the cost of repair
- Extended warranty options: 2 years for $199, 3 years for $299. Repair at the cost for the lifetime of the product.
Non-Coverage
This warranty only covers manufacturing defects that affect the performance of the product. Demo Cold Plunge Tubs, prototypes, and commercial use are not covered by this warranty. The foregoing limited warranties shall not apply to Products that have been subject to improper use, maintenance, abuse, neglect or accident or circumstances beyond IceCap’s control, in addition to any damage not related to faulty workmanship or defective materials, including but not limited to:
- Damage caused by structural or dimensional alterations or modifications
- Excessive force put on spin-weld fittings by over tightening, stepping on fitting, ect.
- Sharp objects or dragging over rough surfaces
- Extreme weather, heat or environmental conditions
- Rolling or flipping the Cold Plunge Tub
- Normal wear and tear
- Excessive exposure to sunlight
- Heating or chilling beyond the recommended use
- Unauthorized modification or repairs
- Improper storage, maintenance or care
- Use in commercial, rental or teaching environments
- Accident, improper use, neglect or handling
- Ratchet Strap or any over tightening during transport is not covered by our warranty.
- Damages from other substances other than water put in the Cold Plunge Tub
- Cosmetic defects such as surface pitting, color variations or minor weld marks are not covered by this warranty
Suggested Storage & Transport
- To protect against Cold Plunge Tub warping, store and transport upright.
- Do not expose the Cold Plunge Tub to extreme temperatures.
- If transport do not over-tighten or lay on the side.
- Avoid direct sunlight if possible and always use an Icecap insulated cover when not in use.
No Other Warranties
The express warranty of Ice Cap stated above is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including without limitation, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or design, and non-infringement of third-party rights with respect to the products.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Ice Cap's liability for any warranty claim hereunder exceed the aggregate purchase price paid by the customer for any product. This limited warranty excludes and in no event shall Ice Cap be liable for any extraordinary, exemplary, special, indirect, consequential, or incidental damages of any kind, including, loss of use, even if Ice Cap has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
